PRIMEC Controls Canada is a privately owned company that provides technical sales and service to the Southeast Saskatchewan and Southwest Manitoba petroleum industries.
Our Story
PRIMEC Controls Canada was founded in 1967 and is still evolving to meet the changing needs of our clients by offering a broader range of services and improved product applications.
We believe that having the right people is our most valuable asset and that the goods we sell are truly the best suited for the applications our clients require. This is accomplished through superior knowledge, experience, training, and a strong desire to improve.
We understand that our success is dependent on the success of our clients. We provide products and services in a fully compliant and competent manner to keep your business risks to an absolute minimum. We will continue to improve and get better as we celebrate 50 years in business!
Our History
Estevan Meter Services began operations in 1967. When Estevan Meter began, we were a distributor for CE Natco (National Tank Company) and Barton Instruments. Over the next 55+ years, Estevan Meter would be a leader in oil and gas innovation. Some of the highlights include introducing the first volumetric meter prover to Saskatchewan, establishing the Saskatchewan Boiler Branch registered PSV quality control program, growth in product and service offerings, including developing combustion, electrical and repair shop divisions, and expanding our service area with locations in Virden, Manitoba, Williston, North Dakota, and now Carlyle, Saskatchewan.
In January 2023, Estevan Meter Services, Apollo Electric and Controls, and Virden Meter Services amalgamated under a new brand, PRIMEC Controls Canada. Our amalgamation and rebrand allowed us to achieve several strategic goals, Including improving operational efficiencies, building a unified brand across all locations and divisions, and having a brand that is reflective of everything we offer to our customers.
While we have had many changes and developments over the years. One thing has remained the same, our commitment to delivering the highest quality products and services that are always done right and done on time!
Community
We attribute much of our success to being a strong corporate citizen and understand the importance of reciprocating the local support we have been given by our clients. We do this by supporting a large number of charitable groups and organizations within our business region.
PRIMEC Controls Canada has created a locally owned successive business model that not only serves our clients well but has also contributed to our local communities since 1967 and will do so well into the future. Many other businesses have come and gone. We have remained committed to our clients and improvements since 1967.
